My current habitat is inadequate, what should I do?
Expand gradually — instead of moving your pet to the new habitat in one day, set up the new habitat next to the old one. They will adjust within 2-3 weeks. A gradual transition prevents stress and food refusal.
Are habitat supplies available in Turkey?
Most supplies are available at local pet shops. For specialty supplies (terrarium glass, aquarium filters, reptile heaters), online (Wuffi shopping + major e-commerce) or specialist pet stores in Istanbul/Ankara.
How often should I clean the habitat?
Aquarium: 20% weekly water change, 50% monthly, deep cleaning every 6 months. Reptile vivarium: weekly spot cleaning, full monthly disinfection. Bird cage: daily liner change, full weekly cleaning.
Can multiple pets live in the same habitat?
It depends on the species. Some species (flocking birds, fish) thrive in groups. Some (most reptiles) must definitely live alone. Research compatibility before placing two pets of the same species in one habitat.
How are temperature and humidity adjusted?
